An Indigenous Approach to Healing

Suffering is a fundamental part of being human. The reality of suffering is the 1st of the 4 Noble Truths of Buddhism. Ancient methodologies and practices for healing trauma also exist in the indigenous traditions. Some of these practices and rituals have had a remarkable impact on healing people suffering from trauma. When it comes to healing the effects of trauma there is no one size fits all.
