Natural Happiness

There is something about being in nature and taking in the beauty and natural rhythm of nature that reflects and brings out the same in us. Spending time in nature helps us to feel a sense of wonder and awe, which are natural contemplative experiences. As science explores our connection with nature and how nature and mankind impact each other, we are beginning to recognize that we do not merely exist in nature, but nature also exists in us. We ourselves are part of nature. The great Chief Seattle one said in an open letter to an American President wishing to buy Native American land, "we did not weave the web of life but are merely a stand in it. What we do to the web, we do to ourselves."  We Know Nature Makes Us Happier. Now Science Says It Makes Us Kinder Too
