September 19, 2017

Would you like to join with millions of people like you that envision a world of peace? Each year on September 21st the United Nations and people all over the world observe the International Day of Peace. Established in 1981 by a unanimous U.N. resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. We’re honored to participate in this Day of Peace in partnership with URI, the UN and hundreds of other organizations around the world. We invite you to join us and millions of people around the world as we all practice a Moment of Silence at Noon your time, wherever you are. For more information on Peace Day events check out our International Day of Peace on Contemplative Life.  Here you will find information and links to events in your area as well as live video streaming and 24 hour coverage of events happening around the world. Please remember to share a Moment of Silence for Peace at 12 noon on September 21 in your time zone, ending with the prayer, "May Peace Prevail on Earth."
