What is Unified Minfulness Teacher Training?

Unified Mindfulness is the official teacher training platform for Shinzen Young. Created with over 50 years of research and testing by Shinzen Young, Unified Mindfulness is a system of meditation that’s easily researchable by science, with clear terminology and rigorous precision around concepts and procedures. This system is used by leading institutions like Harvard and Carnegie Mellon for their research on meditation.

Unified Mindfulness Mission:

The mission is to expand the reach of mindfulness throughout the world by training competent and qualified teachers in the Unified Mindfulness System. Just 10 minutes a day is all you need to start enjoying all the wonderful things that a daily meditation practice will bring into your life.

Why this approach to mindfulness?

When we practice mindfulness, we explore our sensory experience in order to gain insight into the nature of the human condition. By deconstructing and intently noticing our moment-by-moment experience, we directly contact the fundamental immateriality inherent in all our experience. This process of discovery is freeing. We are breaking the habit of perceiving our self and our world as separate and solid, which leads us to a greater sense of connection and, therefore, a greater capacity to be of service in the world.
