What is Companions on the Journey?

Companions on the Journey is a spiritual community which seeks to recognize the God/divinity within all of us. The community gathers weekly in Palo Alto, CA as an independent, non-hierarchical Eucharistic community dedicated to aligning with God and healing the separations between us.

What was the inspiration of Companions on the Journey?

Companions on the Journey is the inspiration of Fr. Seán ÓLaoire. It is a community of practice that empowers each person to develop cosmologies, stretch and expand spiritually by bringing spiritual understandings into daily life.

What is the community's view on spirituality?

Spirituality is seen as derived from each individual's experiences of God and is illuminated by the teachings of Christ and the wisdom of other spiritual traditions. We believe that the understanding of different religions and spiritualities demonstrates our interconnectedness. A community that is open, inclusive, participatory, hospitable and loving.
